Just found out a few things today...

The hospital "branch" I went to last wk isn't a full-service hospital according to Registration (whatever that means), so that's why they won't do notarizing... apparently no one on staff is a notary at the branches, or whatever they're called. Today, I had a CT scan at the main hospital where the chaplain is a notary, but was told by Registration that he's hard to reach & you need to schedule an appt to use him as a notary, if you can reach him at all. Okay, scratch that off the list.

She said most go to their banks & was surprised mine won't notarize medical docs & said perhaps credit unions have differing rules? I don't know but it's a moot point as the credit union is the only bank I use.

I had to go to the UPS Store today & they said they'll notarize a medical doc for $5 per doc or $5 per stamp, if multiple docs are needed.

I asked the UPS guy if he knew anthing about AAA & he said they should notarize medical docs for me. Since that's free with my membership & the same direction as the UPS Store, I'll ask there first, then go to the UPS Store last.

When I call AAA, I only get a phone tree with no option to choose, so I'll just have to visit the store. It's only a few miles down the road, so it's not a big deal. I'll go tomorrow to see what they say... if no, the UPS Store is just around the corner.

So, I'm all set. TY for your replies.
