I suspect the "per paycheck" means biweekly checks?

Maybe they take two weeks off for vacation or something. $8.00 x 50 = 400 with the remaining 2 weeks off.

I am just wondering what I am going to do. I have 4 weeks a year off. Does that mean I get less of this big time check?

On another subject, instead of bailing out the auto makers, why not send everyone a voucher to purchase a new car or truck instead of giving the money to the auto makers. We the people can then make a choice of what companies to save by purchasing their cars. Everyone is happy. We all have new rides, and the big three are still in business. (Do you think they will go for this?) LOL
