Just wondering what everyone in Iowa thinks about this mild November so far? My dad is from Oskaloosa so I keep up to date on the weather there. So far the coldest temp has been 28 and the lowest high has been 37. To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been snow either, except back in mid-October. My dad regularly was ice skating near or the week after Thanksgiving. I'd guess there's not any ice anywhere on the lakes in Iowa yet, correct? I suppose the general population likes it as you got a rough winter last year. Then again the winter enthusiasts are probably shouting to the weather gods right now.

Hello,
I live in Bettendorf, and I love it!
Think when winter finally hits, we're gonna be in 'twouble"

After such a crappy October that produced only one 70 degree day, we deserved a pleasant November. We have been in a strange weather pattern for a few years now, cool and wet in the summers and fall, and more snow than normal in the winters. We made it up to 69 on the 4th of July this year, my electric/gas bill was a whole $49 for that month, and havent had one over $60 since March. Glad the price of natural gas is expected to be low for the coming winter, would guess it will be a welcome relief for many.

A crappy October for you guys produces a wonderful one for us, so thank you! Now as I type this it's 29 degrees here. Someone must have opened up the flood gates.
