The "good book" the "bad people" wrote at that.

Leave it to some idiot church to do something as Un-American as burning the Quran.

This is EXACTLY why religion should have NO PLACE IN AMERICAN POLITICS. There are actually people who support this? Wow.

This is why religion should have no place in ANY public venue, in fact I would go so far as to say this is why religion should be outright banned.

I wouldn't want to see religion banned, only universally mocked and jeered.

And you would be wrong to do so, religion isn't the problem here. People with no tolerance and a lot of anger in their hearts. You'll find that in some people, regardless of whether or not they are religious. There are atheists with similar attitudes sometimes.

As I said before, tolerance is something that all human beings must learn.

Yes, religion exposed and ridiculed for the anti-social and anti-progressive obstacle that it is.

People will always crave a spiritual path at some point in their lives. It does not need to be incompatible with modernity or science or reason. There are inner worlds as well as the external one we live in. Faith can make the external world much richer.

I have learned about the Wiccan Rede, which says:

"An it harm none, do what ye will."

Here is more background on what the Rede means:

Quote:
The Wiccan Rede (pronounced /ˈriːd/ reed) is a statement that provides the key moral system in the Neopagan religion of Wicca and other related Witchcraft-based faiths. The most common form of the Rede is An it harm none, do what ye will.

The word "Rede" derives from Middle English, meaning "advice" or "counsel" and being closely related to the German Rat or Swedish råd. "An" is an archaic Middle English conjunction, meaning "if." "Ye" is an archaic or dialect form of "you" (plural).
The Wiccan Rede is a good perspective on relating to other people and to one's self.

You won't hear that from an Atheist, as since we have never had, or cleansed ourselves of the fallacy of religion, we recognize that these are 'true christians' and that is the problem.

As vile and dangerous as the most militant islamic radical.

There is another interesting Wiccan concept I have just learned about. It is called the Law of Three.

Quote:
The Rule of Three (also Three-fold Law or Law of Return) is a religious tenet held by some Wiccans. It states that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times. Some subscribe to a variant of this law in which return is not necessarily threefold.[1][2]
I would caution you, you sound very angry. But the anger that you unleash toward the Christians could create negative energy that comes back at you in a greater amount later on. Live and let live is the best mindset to have when it comes to religion, even when faced with those who don't demonstrate it.

Just my two cents, take it as you will.
