Can someone please transliterate into English the pronunciation of the word that is usually translated as "gospel" in English. Or "glad tidings". That's because HaKoran by Dr. Rubin translates it into Hebrew as "evangelion". I think Torah is translated correctly. Last month the Wikipedia had an article on the word evangelion. Seems that word has been copy-righted by some commercial group and they say no one else can use it. Before I get upset, because this interferes in academic studies, I would like to know if Dr. Rubin has translated into Hebrew correctly from Arabic. IOW, would Maimonides have read it as "evangelion"? And his Muslim cohorts?
