Nowadays the attack on the prophet of Islam, Muhammad (Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him), increases violently. The attackers despondently aim to built a bad picture of the prophet of peace in the mind of people who ignore him. Such actions reflect the low level of morality that is borne by those hopeless people who are standing behind this attack.
Refuting the disservice done to the last messenger of Islam is not what I intent to write about now, because I am sure that if the people know the clear picture of the message of Allah's messenger, they will immediately refuse such a disservice.
Prophet Muhammad came with a great message for all human beings to show them the way to the happy life in both, this life and afterlife. His instructions, which are from the creator of the universe, help people coexist with each other peacefully. Here are few examples of his instructions that help us as human beings live peacefully .
Muslims believe in all the prophets sent by Allah, including Jesus, Moses, and Joseph (peace and blessing of Allah be upon them all). They are not allowed to distinguish one from another because all the prophets bear the same message from the same God, Allah. Muslims also believe in all the holy books sent by Allah to His messengers without any distinction between one and another of them, because they are also form one God, Allah, and carry the same message from Him. In the holy Qur'an, Allah said in chapter two, verse 285: "The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His messengers." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys." Allah also disapproved those who disbelieve in some messengers of Allah and said in the Holy Qur'an chapter four verses 150 to 152: "Those who deny Allah and His messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": And (those who) wish to take a course midway. They are in truth (equally) unbelievers; and we have prepared for unbelievers a humiliating punishment. To those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of the messengers, we shall soon give their (due) rewards: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."
Muhammad (PBUH) instructs his followers to not force others to embrace Islam, because Islam respects freedom of belief , but Muslim should clarify the pure faith. Allah said in the sacred Qur'an, chapter two verse 256: " Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things."
Another example is the instruction to Muslims to respect others who are non-muslims unless they fight them and drive them out of their homes. Allah said in chapter 60 verses 8 & 9: "Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong."
These are a few examples of what the prophet of mercy offers to all humanity. He is really mercy to everyone even to those who disservice him. In one of his battles when he was defending his town from the enemies, some of his enemies reached him and hurt him and they were about to kill him but they couldn't. After the battle has finished, he raised his hands calling Allah, saying " O' my Lord, forgive my nation, because they don't know (that I'm your messenger)".
So it is reasonable the growing anger of Muslims against the recent events, because the disservice done to the prophet of Islam touches directly the hearts of Muslims around the world. But whatever the disservice, Muslims should not give in to their feelings and do unlike what the prophet Muhammad taught them to do in such events. They should remember that Muhammad (PBUH) is their model and when he, for example, went to "A'tta'if" – a town near Mecca – to invite its people to Islam, they mistreated him and wounded his legs, then he just prayed to Allah for them so that they may be righteous or may produce whom may be righteous. Instead of showing uncontrolled anger, Muslims should think in how to carry the message of the prophet Muhammad to the world to save the world from straying.
