Every one of us will die. That will happen and that is an event.
It is an absolute that if a man is beheaded tomorrow he will die.

"Many things can happen that would stop a beheaded person from dieing,"

Why did you make such a statement when you can not think of anything at all?

You still can not prove a man will be beheaded tomorrow. While it is true that IF a man is beheaded he will die, you can not prove when that will happen.

I am quite certain if the sun went nova tomorrow the earth would be destroyed. But I can not prove that will happen tomorrow.

I never said I could predict that. I said that IF a man were beheaded tomorrow he would die. That I can foretell with certainty.

But you replied that there were "Many things can happen that would stop a beheaded person from dieing,"

You couldn't come up with one and now you are saying "While it is true that IF a man is beheaded he will die, you can not prove when that will happen."

Nope, and I never claimed I could.

But you did claim ""Many things can happen that would stop a beheaded person from dieing,"

You also said: "You can not prove the universe will exist tomorrow until after tomorrow arrives."

All evidence points to the universe existing tomorrow. That mountain of scientific evidence adds up to proof. NOTHING suggests that the universe will end tomorrow. NOTHING. It's not like the universe could get into a car accident or have a heart attack. The fate of the universe is determined by it's density and a preponderance of evidence to date, based on measurements of the rate of expansion and the mass density, favors a universe that will continue to expand, not end tomorrow.

Provide the evidence you have for the universe ending tomorrow.

My whole point was we can not know what will happen until after it happens. Yes people will die if beheaded--That has happened many times. But we can not prove a specific person will be beheaded until after it happens.

Super Nova are qute common in the universe we can not predict when one will happen. There is always a possibility the sun could become on--Without warning and then, no more earth.

You said: "You can not prove the universe will exist tomorrow until after tomorrow arrives."

I asked for any evidence you had.

Are you seriously suggesting a super nova could end the universe??

I'm done.

No, but just because I can not think of something that could end the universe is not proof there is nothing that could.
