Let’s focus on trying to create a balance between worship and living a day to day life in the example of our prophet (saw).
Let’s try not to limit our focus on worship alone. Let’s not limit ourselves to reciting Quran only and let’s not limit ourselves to praying extra naffal and Taraweeh.
Let’s try to practice, Patience.
Let’s be more generous.
Let’s forgive all whose who may have done injustice to us BEFORE we ask forgiveness for ourselves from God
Let’s guard our eyes from looking at what’s evil and bad.
Let’s stop our hands from hurting anyone and/or be involved in doing stuff that’s evil and bad.
Let’s not hear things that are evil and bad
Let’s not walk towards things and places that are evil and bad.
Let’s not waste resourses.
Let’s decrease the amount of food we eat.
Let’s help others without any expectation of getting back anything in return.
And perhaps the most toughest of all, let’s not use our tongues to speak lies, back biting, and/or say things are hurtful to others even though they may be true.
Let’s be happy.
Let’s keep smiles on our faces
Let’s be kind to our kids, our spouses, our families, and our neighbors.
Let’s be kind to nature and animals.
Let’s truly Thank God that he made us amongst the Muslims and ummati of his beloved prophet (saw). There is no bigger blessing than that.
And Let’s take this month as a month of training. So that we will try to live a life in rest of the 11 months just as we lived in Ramadhan till the month of training comes again.

Aameen!
Ramadhan will inshaAllah begin on Sunday night and Monday will be the first fasting day of the month here in the UK.
Though I am Christian myself, I work in NYC at an engineering firm owned by a Muslim family (husband, wife, and son, all engineers), and they are fine people who live their lives as good examples of Islam.
Such people teach me that we have more in common than we have differences, as do the words in the first post of this thread.
