All of us should give some serious thought to some of the ideas contained in an article circulating the blogsphere titled "Why a Peaceful Majority is Irrelevant." So often our political leaders, "experts" and talking heads tell us that Islam is a peaceful religion and most Muslims are not out to destroy the West. We're told it's only that 1 percent, out of 1.2 billion Muslims, who are fanatical jihadists who believe America is the Great Satan, cause of all evil, and should be attacked and destroyed.

The authority of Muslim Nations is in the hands of Religious Scholars who decides what should be done in a particular satuation. Today the Entire Religious community tells those Muslims who are involved in WAR to Stay Peaceful and Don't react.
So what authority do these scholars has?
O ye who believe! Obey God, and obey the Apostle, and those charged with authority among you (Scholars & Leaders)
If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to God and His Apostle, if ye do believe in God and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination. [The Holy Quran 004:059]
This is a very clearly mentioned solution in the Holy Quran for us Muslims.
But there is a problem. The west tries to Conquest Muslim Territories and has hidden agendas as the whole world knows well. So in this case Peace can never be obtain in the world.
First they are suppose to get rid of their desires and then no Sane person will ever react and fight.
THE MESSAGE OF QURAN
Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of God is (always) near to those who do good. [ The Holy Quran 007:056]
But if the enemy incline towards peace, you (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). [ The Holy Quran 008:061]
That Home of the Hereafter (Paradise) We shall give to those who intend not high-handedness or mischief on earth: and the end is (best) for the righteous. [The Holy Quran 028:083]
So paradise is forbidden for those Muslims or non Muslims who do mischief on earth.
if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder- or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. (The Holy Quran 5:32)
[038:028] Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth?
[017:033] Nor take life - which God has made sacred -
(4:29) Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves:
The Message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet, said, "Abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (evil doing) and killing him is Kufr (disbelief)." Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 197:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I heard the Prophet saying, "Do not revert to disbelief after me by striking (cutting) the necks of one another." Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 198: Sahih Muslim Book 019, Number 4320
It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles; so the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) forbade the killing of women and children.
Faith Tolerance in the Quran
[060:008] God forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for God loveth those who are just.
Now you can decide for your self whether Islam inclines towards PEACE or not.

We would not be in this situation if certain events didn't happen on 9/11/2001. I am not saying Iraq has anything to do with it, but the events on that day got the ball rolling to the present day.
One of the reasons that a lot of the world is unhappy with the U.S. is because terrorism has been going on forever in every other country and we did little about it. But when it happens to us directly on our home soil, then we react with force and it must be eradicated.
IMO I don't think it is about conquesting Muslim territories. It is about stomping out every faction of terrorists ( the ones that got us ) and they just happen to be Muslim. I see the United States getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan as soon as the countries can function on their own.
I dont remember any present day christians blowing up Muslims. The West cannot be blamed for disliking the Muslim religion when so much violence has been directed towards us. The Bali bombings and 9/11 being just two, but we all know there have been many more. How can your say the Muslims are peaceful when they worship a God who condones and according to them even rewards them for killing hundreds of innocent people?June - peace loving christian

Forgot holding school children hostage with bombs and then shooting the children in the back when they try to run away; holding people in a movie theater hostage before killing them; and let's not forget what recently happened in India. Gotta love those peace loving muslims.

Osama bin laden either cannot be blamed for disliking america when it supporting Israil in it's violence and killing of innocents and civilians in phalastine
the US constantly providing israil with the US highest tech weapons. This supports the Israelis' aggression against the Palestinian civilians.
The Israelis bomb civilians and destroy crops in many acres of the land, and kill cattle and other animals that the Palestinians use to aid them to survive.
So don't blame the Muslims when they view the US and Israel as the worst enemies to Islam. You should at least understand where they are coming from.

if america be invaded , american moslems should fight beside america to defend their country (obligatory in islam) , it will be said that they make jihad and they will say allah akpar and they will sacrifice themselfs for the sake of thier country (america) and the reward will be for them in hearafter by thier lord .
think about it

The United States during the Persian Gulf war had used the "Uranium Bombs" or "Deplete Uranium Bombs" which are equivalent to small atomic bombs (smaller than the ones used on Japan during W.W.II, but have the same effects of devastation) on some of the cities in Iraq.
Also, the Israeli's use their high tech American weapons to intentionally bomb civilians.

elwill, you're whole post was total garbage. I truly knew it was garbage when you said Israeli's use American weapons to intentionally bomb civilians. Palestinian terrorist fire rockets into Israel from populated areas so that when Israel responds to the attack it will increase the body count. Israel also bombs terrorist bomb making facilities which terrorist locate within family homes.
