The title of the thread is misunderstanding of sharia. Funny. WE DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND SHARIA & ISLAM AT ALL. The RELIGION is mostly backwards and crazy. Moderate Muslims are a minority and live in fear. Justifying the raping of children and the execution of religious converts... We are not misunderstanding anything.
President Obama's natural father was a muslim Kenyan who the President claimed had lost his faith when he was in college. His stepfather was a non-practising muslim though it must be noted that it was his secular mother who had supervised the president's schooling throughout. Thus Obama was never really grounded in Islam from day 1. He would most likely not be considered muslim at all. Thus the rules doesn't apply to him.
