WHAT IS ISLAM?

Can we find an explanation of the great universe? Is there any convincing interpretation of the secret of existence? We realize that no family can function properly without a responsible head, that no city can prosperously exist without sound administration, and that no state can survive without a leader of some kind. We also realize that nothing comes into being on its own. Moreover, we observe that the universe exists and functions in the most orderly manner, and that it has survived for hundreds of thousand of years. Can we then say that all this is accidental and haphazard? Can we attribute the existence of man and the whole world to mere chance.

Man represents only a very small portion of the great universe. And if he can make plans and appreciate the merits of planning, then his own existence and the survival of the universe must also be a planned policy. This means that there is an extraordinary power to bring things into being and keep them moving in order.

In the world then must be a great force in action to keep everything in order. In the beautiful nature there must be a Great creator who creates the most charming pieces of art produces every thing for a special purpose in life. The deeply enlightened people recognize this creator and call him Allah "God". He is not a man because no man can create or make another man. He is not an animal, nor he is a plant. He is neither an Idol nor is He a statue of any kind because non of these things can make itself or create anything else. He is different from all these things because he is the maker and keeper of them all. The maker of anything must be different from and greater than things which he makes.

There are various ways to know God "ALLAH'' and there are many things to tell about him. The great wonders and impressive marvels of the world are like open books in which we can read about God. Besides, God Himself comes to our aid through the many Messengers and revelations He has sent down to man. These Messengers and revelations tell us everything we need to know about God.

The complete acceptance of the teachings and guidance of God 'Allah' as revealed to His Messengers Muhammad is the religion of Islam. Islam enjoins faith in the oneness and sovereignty of Allah, which makes man aware of meaningfulness of the Universe and of his place in it. This belief frees him from all fears and superstitions by making him conscious of the presence of the Almighty Allah and of man's obligations towards Him. This faith must be expressed and tested in actions, faith alone is not enough. Belief in one God requires that we look upon all humanity as one family under the universal Omnipotence of God the Creator and Nourisher of all. Islam rejects the idea of chosen people, making belief in God and good actions the only way to heaven. Thus, a direct relationship in established with God, without any intercessor.

Islam is not a new religion. It is, in essence, the same message and guidance which Allah revealed to all Prophets. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ismael, David, Moses and Jesus (PBUT). But the message which was revealed to Prophet Mohammed (PBUT) is Islam in its comprehensive, complete and final form.

The Quran is the last revealed word of Allah and the basic source of Islamic teachings and laws. The Quran deals with the basis of creeds, morality, history of humanity, worship, knowledge, wisdom, God-man relationship, and human relationship in all aspects. Comprehensive teaching on which, can be built sound systems of social justice, economics, politics, legislation, jurisprudence, law and international relations, are important *******s of the Quran. Hadith, the teachings, sayings and actions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUT), meticulously reported and collected by his devoted companions. Explained and elaborated the Quranic verses.

THE FUNDAMENTAL ARTICLES OF FAITH IN ISLAM

The true faithful Muslim believes in the following Principal articles of faith:-

He believes in One God 'Allah', Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creator and Provider.
He believes in all Messengers of God without any discrimination among them. Every known nation had a warner or Messenger from God. They were chosen by God to teach mankind and deliver His divine message. The Quran mentions the name of twenty five of them. Among them Mohammad stands as the last Messenger and the crowning glory of the foundation of Prophethood.
Muslin believes in all scriptures and revelations of God. They were the guiding light which the Messengers received to show their respected peoples the Right Path of God. In the Quran a special reference is made to the books of Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus. But long before the revelations has been lost or corrupted. The only authentic and complete book of God in existence in the Quran.
The true Muslim believes in the Angels of Allah. They are purely spiritual and splendid beings whose nature requires on food, drink or sleep. They spend their days and nights in the worship of God.
Muslim believes in the last Day of Judgement. This world will come to an end someday, and the dead will rise to stand for their final and fair trial. People with good records will be generously, rewarded and warmly welcomed to the Heaven of Allah, and those with bad records will be punished and cast into Hell.
Muslim believes in the timeless knowledge of God and His power to plan and execute His planes and nothing could happen in His Kingdom against His will. His knowledge and power are in action at all times and command over His creation. He is wise and merciful, and whatever He does must have a meaningful purpose. If this is established in our mind and hearts, we should accept with good faith all that He does, although we may fail to under stand it fully, or think it is bad.
THE FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM

Faith without actions arid practice is a dead end, as far as Islam is concerned. Faith by nature is very sensitive and can be most effective. When it is not out of practice or out of use, it quickly loses its liveliness and motivation power.

There are five pillars of Islam:

The declaration of faith: To bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Mohammad (PBUH) is His Messenger to all human beings till the Day of Judgment. The Prophethood of Mohammad obliges the Muslims to follow, His exemplary life as a model.
Prayers: Daily, prayers are offered five times a day as a duty towards Allah. They strengthen and enliven the belief in Allah and inspire man to a higher morality. They purify the heart and prevent temptation towards wrong - doings and evil.
Fasting the month of Ramadan. The Muslims during the month of Ramadan not only abstain from food, drink and sexual intercourse from dawn to sunset but also sincerity and devotion. It develops a sound social conscience, patience, unselfishness and will - Power.
Zakkah: The literal and simple meaning of Zakkah is purity. The technical meaning of this word designates the annual amount in kind or coin which a Muslim with means must distribute among the rightful beneficiaries. But the religious and spiritual significance of Zakkah is much deeper and more lively. So it has humanitarian and sociopolitical values.
Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah): It is to be performed once in a lifetime, if one can afford it financially and physically.

Oh. Another cut and paste. Surely there's a copyright on these source websites.

yes for crying out loud. The beginning of life was demonstrated in a laboratory in the 1950s and the new super-collider in Europe will help in understanding the beginning of the big bang.

What an excellent and logical connection. One for the philosophers!

sure, from molecular forces such as hydrophobic and hydrophilic forces to gravitational ones... Or were you more talking about a metaphorical cosmic puppeteer ?

says who? This statement couldn't be better emotionalized with music.

And yet many other deeply enlightened people in history have said that there is no creator.

yeah, that would be silly.

no chosen people, except for "Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ismael, David, Moses and Jesus and Mohammed."

yes, because God forbid (yes, I said it) an almighty ever give the correct instructions from the start because that would instill confidence! I know when I get a product that I don't mind getting the correct instructions on the n'th try...

It's the final and correct one because it says so and you can't defeat that argument!

merciful and compassionate.. except for if you don't spend your life devoted to and worshiping him then he'll send you to hell. I sure wish my parents didn't love me unconditionally because then I could have grown up to be bitter because i was compelled to have to constantly impress them.

I'll stop here. It was fun.

The Islam is:

Why is it that .......... Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creators and Providers.... .....who allegedly are "All Loving Gods " ....seem to demand complete and eternal worship from the flawed human beings they created; to appease and feed what simply appears to be a massive ego-trip?

Where's all the love? Love is not rooted in the appeasement of one's ego.

How could an "All Loving Gods " create such a flawed species (in us human beings), demand that we worship him and specifically stipulate that the only way to eternal happiness, peace and love; can only be gained through eternal worship of himself?

God seems to have chosen to be quite specific when it comes to feeding his ego-trip, but everything else is written in a vague, broadscoping, please play connect the dots manner. Oddly, most of the dots are completely missing and non-existent.

Okay, an "All Knowing, All Loving God ", a God who claims to have created and know all that came before us, all that exists and happens today and all that will come to pass in the future. Yet, all these religion books are written from a very isolated in time perspective which only reflects the knowledge, experience and current social....political.....technological......environ mental progress and conditions of the time it was written in.

Why didn't God include some insight to the works of men of the future?

Certainly such a God would be aware of the coming of technological break throughs such as electricity, light bulbs, Airplanes, computers, pharmaceutical/medicinal discoveries...etc....etc...

Certainly such an "All Knowing, All Loving God " would not choose to discriminate against women, as Islam does. An "All Knowing, All Loving God " would have the love and foresight to see that women are equals to men. Not just a gender to oppress and repress; in favor of excusing the behavior of males..

Why is everything written from a basic male perspective and within terms which reflect the experience and environment of human beings from that point in history/time. A human perspective with earthly, male-based rewards.

Virgins:

Koran 78:31
As for the righteous, they shall surely triumph. Theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, and high- bosomed virgins for companions: a truly overflowing cup.

Koran 37:40-48
...They will sit with bashful, dark-eyed virgins, as chaste as the sheltered eggs of ostriches.

Koran 44:51-55
...Yes and We shall wed them to dark-eyed houris. (beautiful virgins)

Koran 52:17-20
...They shall recline on couches ranged in rows. To dark-eyed houris (virgins) we shall wed them...

Koran 55:56-57
In them will be bashful virgins neither man nor Jinn will have touched before. Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny ?"

Koran 55:57-58
Virgins as fair as corals and rubies. Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny ?"

Koran 56:7-40
...We created the houris (the beautiful women) and made them virgins, loving companions for those on the right hand.. "

Koran 55:70-77
"In each there shall be virgins chaste and fair... Dark eyed virgins sheltered in their tents whom neither man nor Jin will have touched before..

Boys:

Koran 52:24
Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.

Water, Gardens and Streams:

Koran 13:35
This is the paradise which the righteous have been promised: it is watered by running streams..

Koran 3:198
As for those that fear their Lord, theirs shall be gardens watered by running streams in which they will abide for ever, and a goodly welcome from God...

Koran 3:136
...These shall be rewarded with forgiveness from their Lord and with gardens watered by running streams, where they shall dwell forever. Blessed is the reward of those who do good works..

Koran 15:45
The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear flowing water)

How could an "All Knowing, All Loving God " create what he knows is a very flawed species and then punish them with eternal suffering, pain and misery; for behaving like the flawed species, he himself (God) created?

That's Love?

So according to Islam, when I die and pass onto the afterlife; I will be bringing my penis and neverending love of boobs with me?

The afterlife is the same physical existence as we have now? Penis and all?

It was fun.
It is fun indeed the words of the atheist, and silly is their way of thinking.

Tell us then, according to your brilliant mind, how can anything come to existence without being made by any maker, or any action without a doer?

God is the Maker and the Doer of every work in the universe

The Quran confirms this in the aya 6: 102

The explanation:
(The Originator of the heavens and the earth! How should there be any child for Him, seeing that He has no wife, and He created all things [so if He had had any child, He would have told people about that], and is All-Aware of every things?

Therefore, that [Originator of the heavens and the earth] is God your Lord; there is no god but He [alone] the Creator of everything, so worship Him [but worship not others]; for He keeps guard over all things.

Sights perceive Him not, but He does perceive sights, and He is the Compassionate, the Well-Aware.)

First of all, you have to tell us: do you believe in God: the Creator or not?

What's the crime in any sexual desire and pleasure if it is in lawful way: husband and wife?

So according to your thinking: why will not man be rewarded by all sorts of lawful pleasure (given to him by God) in the next afterlife, if he is righteous (in addition to the good pleasure of God Most Gracious)?

No, not at all

This is not any good advice: to stay away from the Islam: the religion of God, and hold fast to the enthusiasm, and glorifying the servants, rather than glorifying God alone and devoting to God exclusively.

Therefore, if any man likes to be saved and prosper in the next afterlife:
  • He should believe that God is One without associate (as the First Commandment says which is the most important of all the Commandments);
http://universeandquran.t35.com/#First_Commandment
  • He should believe in all the apostles of God without denying anyone of them (including Prophets: Moses, Jesus and Mohammed);
  • And believe in all the heavenly books including the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran;
  • And believe in the next afterlife.
