It is painfully obvious the Qur'an is a text that evolved over a 300 year period, and is not the work of one person.
If a person blindly accepts otherwise, they will never learn.
Then mark me as one who will never learn.
I do not believe I accepted Islam blindly. I fought against Islam for nearly all my life and did not believe the Qur'an was the word of Allaah(swt) until the minute I accepted Islam.
If you had asked if I believed the Qur'an was the word of Allaah(swt) 10 seconds before I said the Shahadah I would have said no. I was very content as an atheist and I never thought I would ever believe in God after leaving 45 years of Christianity. I sincerely believed I was right during my 20+ years as an Atheist.
I had no desire to believe Allaah(swt) existed nor did I want to. In 20 years I saw no evidence of the existence of God. But, Allaah(swt) in a matter of minutes convinced me he was real and does exist.
When there are 3700 Gods, at least 3699 are dead wrong.
Or it can be some folks are simply worshiping the same god without knowledge.
There are now over 30,000 Christian denominations about 6 Jewish denominations, about 6 Muslim denominations and 1 Sabeean denomination. We all (with the exception of some Christians) agree we worship the same God(swt)
Except you are speaking of the Abrahamic religions, a minority of the religions, and BTW,t he Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sects of these are completely different.

Yes , we are very different, but we each worship the SAME God(swt) in the manner we believe is proper.
