The same can be said about extreme Christian groups, why isn't more done to stop groups like the Westboro Baptist Church?

One of my dear friends is a practicing Muslim from Bosnia and she (and her family) condemn acts of violence carried out in the name of Allah and Islam. Many people who follow the faith do condemn these acts, but where is the American media coverage of that?

I'm not aware of a SINGLE Christian that actually gives them any credit. In fact, I personally know of several that ride with the Patriot Guard Bikers that wall these nut-jobs off from being able to protest at funerals.

What is it that you want us to do? Like it or not, this is a free country, and they do have a right to spew their hatred.

Your friend should read her koran. It's pretty clear that she should kill the infidel.

These are the extremist views that some people carry and take the Qu'ran literally, just like some people take the Bible literally to extremes.

Before you completely jump on the bandwagon, ask yourself this: would we be asking for the entire Mormon population to express outrage if the father and daughter were Mormons?

Point taken. But again, there are Muslims that condemn these acts yet not much coverage is given to them.

So you're saying that my friend should take the Qu'ran literally and word for word to continue the cycle of violence that plagues her religion?

Are there honor killings going on among mormons that compare in numbers to the muslims?

Do mormons practice anything comparable to shariah law? shariah law is not just practiced by radicals.

If your friend is a true muslim she would. Not suggesting that would be a good thing...but it is what islam teaches.

Not sure where you're going...

So my friend should bomb extreme groups to appease a few Christians?

I do not see much difference between Islam and Christianity and any other monotheistic religion.. but I would like to get some educational information about Islam.
