Does anyone know why there is such a lack of real dining options at the Outlets? Why no sit down restaurants?

I was wondering that Friday when I went to the food court. Is that really it for the Outlets? It was nearly empty of both vendors and diners.

I wondered the same thing. Usually, you can at least expect a fridays, dave and busters, johnny rockets and chilis at these establishments. I just find it odd tat none of these restaurants are at the outlets.

I live in Brandon, the city not the Reservoir area, so I go to the outlets a good bit for clothes for my 18 month old. I will also visit stores there that do not have a regular store in the Jackson metro area. I had no idea that they even had a food court! It seems that some good restaurants would be a major draw for people visiting the outlets from out of town, especially during Christmas. There are many good restaurants located in the area of the outlets. However, after shopping all day usually with small children who wants to get in and out of the car again to grab some food?

While not on the outlet mall site, Lone Star Steakhouse, Ryan's and Cracker Barrel are nearby.
