Regarding Jackson, in the words of the immortal country legend, Merle Haggard...

Is the best of the free life behind us now, and are the good times really over for good?

Based on this video I'd say it's over. No response at all from the mayor or council. They really don't care about her.

The good news is, the area to the east of there is the last bastion of criminal headquarters in that downtown area. I hope they can hold out for a little while longer.

Secondly, why don't these business owners get a gun and defend their property?

That video is pathetic and pretty much sums up why Jxn is in the toilet. Had an unemployed "activist" gotten up and talked about reparations, he'd gotten a standing ovation. The dismissing, "next" at the end is classic.

Reminds me of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. They have no empathy at all for this business owner.

I wish everyone would quit trying to sink money into the cesspool capital city called "Jackson"

Let them have it. They do not want you there. Get out while you still can.

I've owned several businesses over the years and the way they totally dismissed this business owners' plea for help just truly pisses me off. I buy all my flowers from them and they are the nicest people. I hope they wise up and move to another area, their customers will follow them!

Good question, especially since it was the SAME person.
