Notice the above post said 20-30 minutes to cover all contingencies. And you could (years ago) haul A$$ down Palm Valley RD as there were never any cops on it, until 2AM when the bars closed.

I like Durbin, don't get me wrong, but having lived out that way I can tell you it is not centrally located or close to much of anything. I'm sure you are getting a good deal , and maybe a larger lot ( with the grass here, trust me from experience, the last thing I personally want is a large lot) and more for real estate dollar, but expect that you're vehicle will become your second home.

Well... there is something about Nocatee Pkway that makes me want to open it up to about 120 mph. But, our one speeding ticket in St. Johns happened right there, so I resist the temptation.

Donisanasfan, did you live in Durbin and move to Nocatee?

worse..I lived in South Hampton....and moved here from there. Hated every minute of it. Durbin is much better then SH, but location wise it is about exactly the same......except that SH actually has a quicker commute time to downtown, as it is a closer, straighter shot to 95.

Hmmm, I'll have to disagree with you there. SH is a 210 community, where DC is more an extension of JCP. Durbin doesn't even go down to 210. But I DO agree with you about SH. We didn't even consider the 210 communities.

well, you can disagree....but google map it ...it is right down st johns pkwy about 2 miles or so from one of the amenity centers to SH entrance. The southern end of Durbin sits right on the rear end of Cimarrone.....so it pretty much is a 210 community ....as much or more then a JCP community. Even if you are on the northern most end of Durbin, closest to race track , you are still closer to the 210 publix, then the jcp publix ( by about .02 miles) It is what it is, as they say.

About 10-15 minutes faster from South Hampton than from Durbin to basically anywhere it matters going to.
