I just got in town on Sunday night and I'm looking for some fun things to do and see. I stumbled upon the San Marco area last night, and I found a few things.

What else am I missing?

Search the site a little bit. There's many things that people have already addressed, including this thread on the front page: //www.city-data.com/forum/jacks...ksonville.html

I'm looking at going back to San Marco to do some more shooting. I'm still looking for other places as well.

If you like eclectic, unqiue, historic, architecture, mature trees, grandiose, juxtaposition, and diversity (as it seems you do), then Riverside & Avondale, Springfield, Ortega, and San Marco (which you've already seen) are all great candidates.

Also take a drive to St. Augustine. Some very good photo ops there. Take the tour at Flager College (wonderful collection of original Tiffany windows). Robyn
