Good shot of the RR Bridge and Acosta Bridge! The water looks so calm right then, but that will change as the wind picks up later today. About an hour ago, the sun was shining bright and nice, but some clouds sure have moved in quickly! Not suppose to rain, but just never know. We have our shorts on and livingroom window open and patio door as well.

Have a classmate, and his wife, from Indiana, visiting relatives in St Augustine this weekend......they wrote in FB how nice and warm it is here. I wrote, "of course it is, this is Florida in the winter!".

Last week was thinking about taking the boat out this weekend since it would be warmer and sunny, but the wind prediction went higher and the tide isn't where we need it to be when we launch. Next weekend is suppose to be warm and the tide will be darn near perfect.........just hope the wind will cooperate!

I will find out in about an hour or so as we are just getting ready to head on out to St Augustine to spend the night in our favorite getaway hotel "Castillo Real" on Anastasia Island. I plan on taking many pictures of the Light Festival and Sunrises on the ocean and various other things that intrest me. Should be a fun getaway and a welcome break from getting the new place ready to move into.

This is a pic of the river conditions from yesterday morning with the wind howling at about 35kts. and the temp was only 49 degrees F. Kind of rough out there.
