My wife and I (27, 30) are leaving nj and heading to jacksonville.. We are looking for a clean/safe apartment, walking distance to the beach and must be dog friendly. We must still be able to commute to downtown for work. We would appreciate any info on nice complexes or areas to focus. We would like to stay under $1200 if possible.

Can't help you in terms of the apartment - but note that each city/area out at the beaches (Atlantic Beach - Neptune Beach - Jacksonville Beach - Ponte Vedra Beach has its own rules about dogs (some are stricter than others). For example:
