Would be nice if Jacksonville had some sort of relationship with a major African, European & South American city. Interesting international trade is some Jax is good at.

Wish they would remove the word "International" from JIA. So misleading.

It's there because we have customs capacity and we still service chartered international flights and private international flights. Technically it is not misleading. We also used to have an international flight to Toronto via Air Canada way back in the day.

We won't get flights to Panama. Only a few airports in the whole country offer any sort of service to Panama (and not frequently daily nonstop) because there is not a large demand there.

Technicalities are usually misleading. That's why "international" is misleading.

Very interesting. Should it be called Jacksonville National Airport?

If JaxPort gets ready for the Panama Canal, JIA floodgates could crack open.

The Delta flights to MIA are interesting, too.
