I currently live in Boca Raton but am thinking of either moving to CA or a different part of FL. I have heard good things about Ponte Vedra and I was wondering if someone could suggest nice condo communities to rent at. I am looking for probably a 2 bedroom. In a guard gated community. I open on price but would like a quiet community that is near shops. I would like to see what the living is like in the area and then maybe come to the area for a trip. Those who have lived in South FL and now here are the summers any easier in terms of heat/humidity? Anything else you can tell me about living in the area is appreciated. Thank you

There are a lot of condos to rent here these days. But they come and go (the rental market here isn't great - but nice units tend to get rented). I lived in Miami for 20+ years - and the summers here are just about the same as in south Florida (but the winters are colder). I suggest coming up here for a couple of days - and taking a look for yourself. Robyn

The humidity is MUCH milder though!! Not nearly as extreme.. We lived in Coral Springs/Fort Lauderdale for several years.. and the weather up here is much more bearable than down south..

I second Robyn's suggestion... come up and spend some time here. It's only a 4 1/2 hour drive (or less..) and it'll be a great way for you to check out the areas.. There are always condos and apartments available.. be sure and check Find Real Estate Listings, School and Neighborhood Information and More - Realtor.com® and craigslist as well though to see the most current listings.. They change frequently.

We LOVE it here.. I don't think we'll ever want to live anywhere else.
