Ok, wife and kids are (finally) moving down. Looking for affordable preschool/daycare for my 4.5 year old (starts kgarten this year). Will be living off Hodges between Beach and Atlantic.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks.

It might be a little pricier then you want to go, but Discovery Montessori is a great place for kids to develop. Don't go the baby mill route...your kids deserve better.

Fort Caroline Baptist Academy on McCormick Rd. is near to you, and it has a great preschool for ages 2-5. Also keep in mind that Florida offers VPK funding for 4-year olds, so cost won't be nearly as big of an issue as you think for your child.

Shoot me a message if you need the website or more info.

Thanks for the suggestions. Looking into everything.

We had our older son in a Montessori, not a bad experience but he did get bored with it. Besides, money (unfortunately) is an issue as we're making much less than we were before (for the time being). We just don't have the money yet.

I'd prefer not to put him in a church daycare as, well, I don't want to start a religious discussion. When I search for daycare/preschool, only a handful of places show up. There has to be more there with the number of people/kids there are in the area.

Thanks.
