Hello,

I will be moving to Jax with my family in a couple months. I am searching for an area of Jacksonville that is safe and looking for an apartment that welcomes kids. I am hoping for a price range of under 1000.00/month. I have a 10 year old and 4 year old.

Any suggestions will be welcome. I am heading out there in a couple weeks to check things out and want to have a good starting point. Thank you.

Technically speaking, unless a housing complex is designated as 55+, they all should be "welcoming" to kids. Fair Housing law dictates that. You probably knew that, but just wanted to point that out. Congrats on your move to Jacksonville!

Are you relocating because of a job? If so, its general location and your commute requirements are factors to help forum members give advice since Jacksonvile is so large land-wise.

Banyan Bay is both very kid and dog friendly. Nice little park and always lots of kids bopping about on scooters and rip sticks.
