As cutler said its just off of I95. I would recommend coming and looking at the area before buying here. It is an acquired taste to say the least. I personally would look more towards the water.

Sorry, you got in a snobby area here. I'm towards the back on the preserve and love it. It's quiet and my neighbors are great! We have terrific block parties and seem to get along well. I'm glad I moved here from So.Fla. Cheaper to say the least and saving a lot of money...

To those who live in Stonehurst... we are relocating from South Jersey and I am trying to get a feel for the area. We have 4 young boys ranging from 20 mo to 9yrs old who are extremely active. Is it a tight knit community or more of a keep to yourself neighborhood? I am very nervous about this move, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

TiggnTaz - The whole community is pretty active. At any given point in time, there are children playing with each other in the streets and cul-de-sacs. We have a baseball diamond that also sees a lot of use and the pool is quite busy in the summer. I know many people on my street and a couple of the others.

I've heard though, depending on what part of the neighborhood you live in will depend on the level of interaction. I'm in "phase 2" (or as you are driving into the dev, phase two is on the right).

Over XMas I met a young couple who moved out of Stonehurst because they couldn't take the people. They'd moved here from LA and weren't typical la-la types, just a bit artsy and very bright. I think the wife said she was afraid of turning into a Stepford wife!

rtt,
I find that absolutely hilarious. We cannot differentiate between our female neighbors. You could offer us a million dollars to pick which ones live next door and we would be screwed they do all look alike. (at least where we live) It is scary. Stepford wife is a perfect description.
