There's 2 new restaurants/bars opening up relatively soon in Downtown.

Burro Bar: Jacksonville company Burro Bags now adds bar to its expanding repertoire | jacksonville.com

From the Burro Bags group, expect a "dive" similar to Lomax Lodge, Shanty Town, or Jack Rabbits. Young, creative, and alternative thinkers usually frequent their businesses. So that's probably the crowd to expect.

Grand Opening is May 8th, for Art Walk.

Olio Market to open soon in downtown Jax - Jacksonville Cheap Eats | Examiner.com

Looks like an electic restaurant, focusing on local, in-season foods with gourmet on-the-go meals and patio seating as well.

These are very much within walking distance to one another, by the way, as well as Burrito Gallery, Indochine, Poppy Love Smoke, Dos Gatos, Florida Theater, Marks, The Ivy, Dive Bar, TSI, Lit, Northstar Station, Chew, Zodiac Grill and Lounge, and multiple Off the Grid art galleries, etc.

These are just what's in comfortbale walking distance to one another.

Cafe 331, MOCA, Mavericks, The Landing, The Sinclair, City Hall Pub, Cafe Moca, La Cena, the sports arenas, the entertainment arena, preforming arts center, riverwalk, Chamblins Uptown, etc aren't in comfortable walking distance.....but are well with in a mile's drive.

Yeah....there's nothing to do in Downtown Jax. (ha)

Skyline Dining and Conferance Center maybe? Its a cafateria style place on the 42nd floor of the Bank of America bldg @50 N Laura street.
The Skyline is run by corporate giant Aramark, so don't expect a mind-blowing gastronomic experience when you come for lunch.
