Well - our house is on the market here in Miami -so, hopefully we will soon have to make our decision on which community to settle in. We've looked at several in all the recommended zips (32225 - 32224 - 32246, etc)

One of the areas that I did not have a chance to see is St. John's Landing - but, I've recently found a few terrific houses online. Can anyone give me some feedback about this neighborhood?

Thanks in advance for your help.

In Fort Caroline?

I'm not familiar with the neighborhood itself, but I just checked it out online and I'm thinking I should move there myself . Those are some nice prices for the square footage .

I know the area over by the Fort Caroline Memorial, but this neighborhood is located further west of the Memorial, it might be closer to some not so great areas - so do a thorough drive-around to be sure (sorry, it's a spot I just don't frequent enough to have a definitive bead on it).

But overall, this is a pretty part of town. The direct access to the river from inside the neighborhood is very nice. You also have great access to Hanna Park (one of my fave beaches) using the new Wonderwood expressway. Also very close to downtown.....numerous things .

Thanks so much for your insight -
The prices in the neighborhood have actually come down over the last few months - yes, it does seem very appealing for the sq. footage. We also have a boat, so the possibility of such easy access to the water sounds great.

We'll be up in Jax again in the next week or so, and I look forward to taking a good look around.

Your help is much appreciated!!
