Can anyone give me any information about the schools in the Durbin Crossing area? We are looking to move to SJC but do not know anything about the schools in this area. Thanks!

Default Durbin Crossing Schools

Durbin Crossing is zoned to excellent schools: Durbin Creek Elementary, Fruit Cove Middle School and Creekside High School . All are VERY close to Durbin Crossing . My daughter purchased a Providence Home in Durbin over a year ago and loves it there. She has 3 children in Durbin Creek Elementary. The teachers have all been wonderful, her kids are all doing great academically!

Creekside High School was just listed in Newsweeks "Top 500 schools in America". They came in at number 257!

America's Best High Schools - The Daily Beast

All of the area schools are very good. But Creekside High School is outstanding!

It is good….but it has fallen from the top 100, and I have to wonder why that is the case.

When will the Durbin Crossing builder be building Durbin Crossing Elementary? Right now Durbin Crossing South will have to go to Hickory Creek Elementary in the 2012 - 2013 school year. That is an incredibly far school for our area.

Probably when the county school board tells him to and has funds/plans to pay for it.

I'm sure there is a huge difference between 100 and 200 in those rankings.

I called the school board to ask about that before we signed with Dreamfinders to build in DC. They said the school will be a K-8 and it is next in line for the county to build. They estimated 2-3 years from last fall.

They also said it was going to be a $20 million prototype school for the state, very exciting!
