I have been to a few First Watches outside of Jacksonville, and I am glad to see they are now in town. There are 2 locations so far, one in Mandarin and the other out in Jax Beach. If you are not familiar with the restaurants, they have excellent brunch kinda food...

Here's a post I found online. I Love this place! First Watch Opens in Mandarin

Website and breakfast menue looks VERY GOOD! Will try both Mandarin and Jax Beach restaurants. Really looks like that "down home" feeling type of place. Thanks for the info!

With the addition of the two Jacksonville locations I guess there are 32 First Watch locations now in Florida....

and a total of 92 across the country.

There are a few of them up here in St Louis. It's funny, I've been eating their 'Floridian French Toast' (highly recommended) for years.

Had one in Kansas City when I lived there. Very plain, nothing special, generic breakfasts. Exciting!

Yeah, I'd much prefer going to the Beach Diner in PVB with all the 90 year old snowbirds...makes me feel young!

It's(the Mandarin location) not really close to the Metro Diner is it? The Mertro Diners in San Marco, and It's out past I-295 right? We were talking about trying it tommorow morning, but probably won't after reading a couple of reviews on other sites saying it was just OK.(3 out of 5 stars) Maybe later!
