I was wondering if anyone has had a simliar experience with AT&T, and if you were able to get it resolved. When we moved to Florida, we signed up with AT&T for phone and internet. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone (seriously) for various issues. The two worst: They connected our internet and then accidentally cancelled it the next day (it took almost a month to get this resolved). Most recently, they billed us $100 for the free DSL modem they sent us. I was told they made a mistake, the credit was only supposed to be offered for online orders, not phone orders. I had to go through 6 departments to finally get that answer, and now I have to go to the trouble of sending it back. I do not want to go through the hassle of setting up new service with someone else, but am wondering if anyone has a better service they would recomend.

If Comcast is your cable provider, you could try their Triple Play. Before we went with satellite TV, we had that company for phone and internet, too, and no problems whatsoever.

Have to agree with mawipafl, Comcast is about the only other "real" game in town.
