Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a company who can put in a shallow well for our irrigation system.
Any idea how much it might cost?
Any pros and cons?
Any feedback on how easy or challenging it is to get a permit for a well? From what I understood searching online it is usually expected that the home owner applies for the permit(s).

Thanks!

Partridge Well and Pump can do that for you. If it's too shallow, the iron content in the water will create rust stains on your driveway, sidewalks, and the side of your house.

I can assure you he speaks the truth. The house we're renting has such a said (too) shallow well and we got iron...on the house, fence, trees, driveway and (yes) vehicles!
