Thanks jmc for your response..in contract..did the final design center visit..just wish they gave you more time to decide...only have a limited amt of time for major decisions...Somewhat disappointed that so much to cover and feel like there is a ton yet to be done...way too many ways to go on the gourmet kitchens! I have built 3 homes and this is the first builder that does not give you up front pricing ..you have to do that preview nite and then so much wasted time in the final design appt...if I knew the pricing first for my budget things could move much quicker, however they have good quality for standard and the low levels are affordable...how long have you lived in the community? You are happy up there, feel the location is not far removed? I had mixed

We're looking at building with DreamFinders; probably in Plummers Creek, though we've also looked at Deer Run. Has anyone used their preferred lender? At what point does DF want financing approved?

Dream Finders
Looking to use Dream Finders for a house. Anyone familiar with how the design center works with them? Do they provide you any information before you actually go for your appointment since the time you spend at the design center seems to be a bit smaller then some other builders I have found online?

I'm Having my first house built by dream finders in Plummer creek. I just had my appointment at the design center and yes it's a lot to take in but I didn't feel a rushed. I went in there with a budget in hand and came out under budget. They can give you running amount and you can add and remove things so that you can stay on budget. So next I meet with the super to go over my plans and placement of towel bars and toilet paper holders. I'm using there lender. I don't have to much to say about them yet. I filled out all the paperwork and submitted all my documents. She did tell me once I receive my expected complete date, that I would need to resubmit all my financial paperwork along with the home insurance company information.

New2Yulee, I believe you can extend the appointment if you need to. We did not need to. We found them to be very organized. We had an idea of what we wanted when we went in and what we wanted to upgrade on and we completed everything on time. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.
