Moultrie Montessori School is excellent. It is located on State Road 16 about a mile or 2 west of US 1. My child has attended this school, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. I don't think they take anyone younger than 3 years old, though. My child is not even kindergarten age yet and she can read and is getting progressively better in addition and subtraction. The downside is it is on the pricey side (comparatively speaking) and no free vpk. If you can afford it, it is definitely worth the cost.

I've had people tell me they were pleased with Villages Academy North, which is on US 1 about 3 miles north of SR 16, near the airport. There is another location of Villages Academy down near 312, though I don't know anyone who's had children there.

I was really impressed when I looked into Island Prep on St. Augustine Beach, which just opened last year. I don't know anyone attending, but the owner/operator really impressed me. It is located on A1A a few miles south of 312.

Others have told me that they like Cathedral Parish School downtown. It is Catholic, but you don't have to be a practicing Catholic to send your kid there.

The only potential issues with the Cathedral School are uniforms and local traffic at pick up
