Well, some statistics we may not understand but they seem to work so they get used. Nobody who says they understand Quantum theory really does but our modern society is built around Planck's constant.

So take tattoos and IQ's. Already in a hole locally if you use the age-old formula of taking the average IQ and deducting one pt for every latitude degree south of the Mason Dixon Line and then you deduct 5 pts for every tatooo and we wonder why there's no high tech industry locally.

Actually I personally don't care what males do to themselves but I hate seeing attractive females do it!

LOL that's funny gray... I consider myself to be attractive, but I've definitely never had any complaints about mine from any men... except by my grandmother... yea she gets onto me all the time for "ruining my beautiful body with that stuff". I would never go up into my neck/face/chest area though. I don't care what others do, but I personally do have some boundaries haha.

I was thinking about this post last night as we exited a local restaurant, I happened to glance over to this woman in her 40's wearing shorts....on the back of both her thighs were pretty good size crisscrossed checkered flags (NASCAR type). One thing you can say for this area, everyone seems to be very imaginative with their tattoos.

Lol... absolutely... I got most of mine when I was dating a guy who's best friend owned a shop. One of the artists there got his eye lids tattooed... seriously?? I can't tell you the amount of crazy I saw come into that shop!

Going back to the original question. "Is Jacksonville, FL the capitol of excessive visible tattoos??", I will give my small sample opinion. I moved from MD to here and it seem to me there are more tattoos down here. In MD it was common to see the small tattoo on the back or ankle, but I did not see as much as the full body tatoos as I see here. Working on one my rentals the other day and the 22 year old girl that lives next door is walking around and she is covered head to toe in tatoos. My daughter about the same age has no tattoos and I do not remember any of her friends having tatoos from head to toe.

My concern would be unlike other trends like coloring your hair purple, this one is permanent. As far as I hiring, I hired an ex military guy covered in skull tatoos and he was one of my best workers. They called him bones.

Where are your rentals located at?

If you think Jacksonville is tatted up, and the capital of excessive visible tattoos. Evidently you have never been to Greenwich Village, Washington Square in NYC or South Beach in Miami or almost anywhere in LA. or Seattle.

I was just about to chime in on the Seattle one lol... I just moved away from Seattle, but no one gave tattoos a second thought up there! I felt at home up there, really like it. It was just too rainy. No sun really affects you!
