Thanks for the advise. I'll post more apartments. If you guys have suggestions or recommendations that would be great. My budget and circumstance is on the first post. What about the Mandarin area that I've heard so much about?

The cheapest place that is actually around the nice area before you start heading towards Sunbeam is probably The Woods of Mandarin. New management, everyone seems to work, relatively cheap. Right next to a few shopping centers.

The only complex in Mandarin that I know is bad and would recommend to no one is the one on the corner of San Jose and Sunbeam Rd.(can't remember it's name)

The Courtyards at San Jose 6701 St. Augustine Road • Jacksonville, FL 32217 seems like it would be a nice place to live

I found this story about the Courtyards at San Jose..Man shot in front of wife, kids in armed robbery | News | Mandarin News.
But than again crime happens everywhere. This could just be a rare incident for that area.

Anybody know anything about Madison Savannah Oaks at 6017 Rossevelt Blvd. 32224

I know where the first one Madison Savannah Oaks is, but not anything about it. It might have a problem with low flying large multi-engine aircraft though. As it's very close to the main runway at Jax NAS.

The second one Colonial Forest Apartments, I would advise avoiding them, not a good area.
