Bartram Park is VERY nice, you can find a STEAL there, make your realtor work, if HE/She isn't working to your standards, find another they work for you. Honestly I had 3 realtors before I baught my last home. I TRULY had different listing from most of them. remember they have to SPLIT commission if the house that you buy isn't there listing!!!!

We lived in Bartram Springs with relatives while our house was being built in DC North. My daughter went to Twin Lakes Middle and was miserable. A handful of AP students so they were all in the same classes and followed each other from class to class. Kids were from all over the place so none of them were friends outside of school. Some very strange teachers that made me wonder why they were allowed to teach kids.

She is now at Fruit Cove Middle School and very happy.

If you are single, why not search in the Riverside/Avondale/San Marco area? There are lots of homes here that are not cookie-cutter, are reasonably priced, and close to restaurants, night life, churches, etc. We love Riverside and its walkability to almost everything including a Publix market, Grass Roots store (organic), movie theater, many restaurants, parks, museum, RAM.
