Greetings. I just moved here from the Buffalo-Niagara region of New York. I'm an aquarium enthusiast who enjoyed the two or three good fresh water fish retailers back home. I've tried a few google searches here in the JAX area, but haven't found much for freshwater fish. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks much!

There arent a ton of freshwater tropical stores. Its not as big in this area. However there are some GREAT saltwater/coral reef stores. I havent been to them in a while but they may have started carrying freshwater. Bioreef is on off of Beach near UNF. There is also one at Old St Aug and San Jose, cant remember the name. Then there is one in Orange Park on Blanding, Reef Junkies or something like that. Give them a call and see.

There is one in the shopping center where Wipeouts is located in Neptune Beach. I can't remember the name of it, but it seems like a really good store to me.

There is always Petsmart and Petco. I got my beta's, and other aquarium stuff there before. Also, Pets Supermarket.
