Looking to relocate to Nocatee community in st.johns county..I have 2 boys ages 14 & 9 ..I know st.johns schools are highly rated but did notice Neese fell from A rating in 2011 to a B rating in 2012..as this is the only HS zoned for Nocatee it is a bit concerning to me...can anyone advise on Neese HS?

Hey williebear, I'm glad you're considering St. John's county! I think there was a thread discussing that topic-- when Nease fell to a B. I don't remember the details, but maybe you could do a searh and find it?

I looked at the (2012) test scores comparison between all of the st johns county high school. I noticed that there really was not much of a difference between the test scores although Ponte Vedra alwayS had the heights out of the bunch, But not by much though!

I looked into it a bit too, seems like once the new Ponte Vedra High School was built, they took most of the smart kids. I wouldnt be too concerned. The school once ranked in the top 100 public high schools in the U.S. and while some of the rich smart kids are resoned, im sure the schools work ethic is still there, your just not always going to have the same number of high acheivers every single year
