Hi,

Relocating was wondering what are the differences between these 2 communities? I know willowcove is more expensive..why is that? Is it gated? Closer to shopping/highwYs?....which community would you consider more kid friendly.?.have 2 boys ages 10 & 14....thanks for your input and much needed help!!

Willowcove is not gated but its closer to the water park. I think more of the lots might be bigger in willowcove than GLV but GLV does have some 80 foot lots now. I'm not sure what else is different. I've bought in GLV and will be moving in July when the house is done. I have 3 boys ages 11, 14 and soon to be 16. I'm moving from NJ. Good luck with your decision.

Both are equally kid-friendly, I'd say. Willowcove is closer to Town Center and the waterpark (walking/biking distance for the most part) but GLV is closer to Hwy 1/I-95 if that's important to you. The new K-8 school will also be right in front of GLV - definitely walking distance and I imagine WC will be a very short bus ride.

That said, I think WC has an overall nicer "feel" to it. The houses are on bigger lots and they have more upscale finishes. But generally speaking, the houses are at different price points, so I think it's what you would expect spending 100K more. From your post, it's sounds like you haven't visited the neighborhoods yet - as soon as you do, you'll get a much better feel about how they compare.

Have you considered Kelly Pointe? It's somewhere between the two, I'd say.

Oh right. DW was building in KP when we were looking. I'm not too crazy about Mattamy either.

Good luck with your choice...I know you'll love Nocatee!

I live in Greenleaf and I would say this is pretty much dead on.

I'd say the quality and price points in Kelly Pointe are lower than GLV, especially with the gated part of GLV going in.
