Hello, My name is Khal and I am coming to Jacksonville for the first time . I have an interview at JU . Please advise me on where to book a couple nights at a hotel . $100 is my max . I tried hotels.com but couldnt tell what area is good or bad . I will be renting a car .

There is a Holiday Inn Express on Salisbury. Not the closest, but a good area and not too far away. Rates start at $103.

There are several other in that area and since you will have a car, you will be able to check out the beach, St. Johns Towne Center, a good location.
Hilton Garden Inn at Deerwood- another good area. Expedia shows rates starting at $83.

Be very careful about some that are along I-95 and some on Beach. Lots of robberies and violent crimes in the paper about them.
