Very true. At this point a win is useless as playoffs are not happening. Just go for the draft picks now. Next year someone will inherit a team that is loaded with first round draft picks.....of course none of them are acting like it, save for Jalen Ramsey.

Don't forget about Yannick Ngakoue (3rd round, 6th pick). That guy's a beast and is playing like a 1st rounder.

Good point, although he has only come on as of late due to some injuries.

Fowler has a mean lick on that Broncos RB, he and Jack seem to get a little better each week. I feel like most of the pieces are in place on D, the team desperately needs more offense.

Did anyone else notice Allen Robinson SCOWLING at Bortles in the last few huddles? The cameras closed in and his eyes told the story, he was not happy. I know he was complaining after the game about the officiating but it sure looked to me like he was equally unhappy with his QB.

Jalen Ramsey plays very hard. People call him a cry baby, but he wants to win and thats what I want. WINNING.

From Pro Football Weekly:

"Pro Football Weekly reports Bucs DC Mike Smith is a top candidate for Jacksonville's head coaching job.
The Jaguars are expected to wait until after the season to fire Gus Bradley. Multiple sources tell PFW that Smith "believes the job is his," and has "already begun reaching out to put a staff together." The Jaguars want a retread and have strong ties to Smith, who was their defensive coordinator for five years and worked with GM Dave Caldwell in Atlanta. Smith has turned around the Bucs defense over their five-game win streak, but they still rank in the bottom half of the league. His hiring would be a questionable fit for a team that already has a defense in place. Jacksonville has also been linked to ex-Giants coach Tom Coughlin."

My guess is that Coughlin would be in line for a front office job, not head coach. Regardless of who the new head coach is, a strong offensive staff is a must.

Does NFL have tampering rules? Seems like you shouldn't be able to approach coaches on other staffs until the season is over. Hope that's the case in the NFL.

Anyway, when Mike Smith was hired, the Bucs knew there was the strong possibility that he'd be hired away.

Go Bucs.

P.S. You've got to get the Jags off the European Tour. It's tough on a team to have to make that Transatlantic trip and recover.

At least the Jaguars have one of the coolest team names in the NFL. Winning seasons come and go...but that name will be around forever.

Winning sells seats and jerseys. Losing doesn't. I feel for the Jags. I hope they become successful. My team has been among the worse for the last ten seasons. The way the draft is set up, it's expected that the teams recover from bad seasons when they draft properly. When Bortles was drafted I expect that the Jags would be a tough team for awhile. Hope they can get a QB-coach guru to help him out.

Patriots show what a good QB can do. Kaepernick shows what a good head coach can do.

Anyway, good luck.
