Bucs have made it difficult to sell on Stubhub anymore. They've gone to mobile ticketing and it's a PITA to list on Stubhub. You have to use NFL Exchange and can't lower the price below face value, and with the Bucs, face value doesn't sell unless they're playing a NY or Patriots team.

Jaguars are mobile too. StubHub is bit of a PIA when it comes to mobile ticket transfers but it really isn't that bad. The only other alternative is to donate the tickets on NFL Exchange, give them away or flat out take a loss.

Texans vs Jags tickets are getting very warm right now across the board for those of you thinking about going. You may want to buy them sooner rather than later especially if you need more than 2 tickets.

Which platform do you recommend buying from? Also, any tips on getting playoff and/or SB tix?

I still think StubHub is the way to go for now. It’s the biggest secondary market for NFL tickets so more often than not, you’ll see the best prices. As a buyer, you’re protected by their “FanProtect” guarantee where you’ll receive a refund if the tickets aren’t on the up and up (extremely rare to nonexistent) or an event is cancelled. Though this is something that most vendors do now days so not a key differentiator. As a general rule, StubHub will tack on ~ 15% - 17% fee on top of the list price when you check out so keep that in mind.

You can also try Seatgeek but they’re very seller unfriendly IMO so the supply of tickets are limited (charges 20% to seller - 10% fee to seller on StubHub). I’ve heard Vivid Seats is good too but their buyer fees may be a tad higher than StubHub. I’m going to research them more from a seller’s standpoint next year since NFL has signed StubHub as their official reseller beginning in 2018. I expect StubHub and some NFL teams will enforce a price floor, which is awful for both buyers and sellers.

As for the playoffs/SB, you’re pretty much at the mercy of the old supply/demand. Some playoff games and believe it or not Superbowls tank in prices few days leading up to the game (some fanbase with $$ travels well so those tickets will always be high ie. - Cowboys, Seahawks, Giants, Bears, Denver to name a few). Some savvy ticket brokers know this (ie. Price tank) and will short the tickets where they promise buyers tickets in a general location for an inflated price when the demand is still high and buy tickets for those orders few days before the game when prices have come down. It’s a dangerous game and some brokers literally go broke if the market turns on them but legit brokers will honor those prices. Trick is to predict what you think the demand will be. Not easy.

Take a team like New England, they’re in the playoffs virtually every year and have won number of championships in the past 10 years. Because of that, demand has actually gone down when they get to the Superbowl since the Pats fanbase has already gone to a SB game. As a result, from a broker’s perspective, it’s a good play to short SB tickets if the Pats are in it. Danger is the unknown demand from the opponent’s fanbase.

Would be nice if the Jags won the division. It has been such a long time.

darkhorse for SB...hope they get there

still shaking my head at our DT Chris Baker on mic vs Jags during Hard Knocks talking to Jags fans about them having another 3-4 win season.....looks like Baker is eating his words.

He then told the fans, "Y'all are crazy. We're out here destroying y'all. You have got to be the angriest fans in the world 'cause every year y'all gonna get at least three wins."

I'm seeing people online asking significantly more than face value right now......crazy for the Jags. I think it has to do with several things: 1. Tomorrow is a "win and we're in" game so essentially a playoff game. 2. Jags winning. and 3. 74 degrees and partly cloudy....couldn't ask for better weather.

Thanks for all the solid info, Ivan!

Oh nice, so divisional round tickets are already for sale? Seems very optimistic that we might host one of those. So how does it work if we don't end up as a top 2 seed? All the money is refunded?

Tickets started getting very warm on Thursday. Totally didn’t expect it and now they’re selling at or slightly above face. I sold 2 at $170 each (section 139) on Wednesday. Probably left $20 - $30 per ticket on the table.

Supply is limited now so these sellers will more than likely get their prices. Only 620 tickets left on StubHub. There are usually 1500-2000 tickets left on Friday/Saturday.
