Hello,

Just looking for more info. on this area. We are looking at a house to rent in the forest brooke subdivision in Oakleaf Plantation. Is the area good? It seems wonderful. Anyone with their children in Plantation Oaks Elementary? Is it good? My children will be in Kinder.

Thanks in advance!

Currently live in Oakleaf, I actually used to live in Forest Brook. Schools are great, neighborhoods are pretty good and well maintained as well as quiet for the most part. Oakleaf has its own small town vibe which is nice since it is still a suburb of Jacksonville. Shopping is close by and nice with the town center, and Commuting to and from is decent. No real Complaints here. A toll road is under contruction though which will bring more Traffic to the area as well.

I don't have kids, so I can't comment on the schools. I live in Two Creeks, which is a bit further towards Middleburg than Oak Leaf. So far, I love it here. I commute to downtown Jax for work and the commute is easy. Brannon Field to I-10, it takes me 40 minutes in the morning and 30 in the evening. Oakleaf Towncenter is so convenient and everyone is so friendly.

Good luck on your move!
