Jacksonville will be a host site for the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the NCAA tournament in March, 2015.

Tell me more about the "pocket" neighborhoods in Jacksonville. As I am thinking of moving there soon.
Thanks Patty

Why is Jacksonville's baseball team only at AA, is it geographical convenience? I always think a town's sports teams, professional or collegiate, more often than not put a place on the map. If it wasn't for the Jaguars, Jacksonville would be almost nothing in the national eye.

Not sure that thats about it may be geographical. The Bragans seem pretty conservative just like most of Jacksonville's wealthy types. Hopefully the Armanda group comes in with a Khan attitude.

Didn't the Jacksonville Suns (baseball) team used to be a AAA franchise back in the 60's associated with the NY Mets?

Here's the whole history (probably more accurate than most on Wikipedia since baseball fans tend to be very rabid and detail oriented):
