In my oppinion:
A yuppie is someone who overspends what they have on a home in the suburbs and a minivan just to impress their friends.
A bobo is someone who overspends what they have on a home in Springfield and a hybrid car just to impress their friends.

I wonder where you'd pigeon hole me?
I spent 1 term at college and quit, I spent big $$ on a big house in PVB, I drive a big MB and my wife has`a lexus suv, my kid has a volvo and I keep an apt in NYC and a house on the jersey shore. In addition I have 2 huge plasma tvs, 4 computers and as I am doing this I am grilling a 2 inch thick 22 once sirlion steak for dinner.

some free advice, don't concern yourself with how others live their lives, it's unproductive and unbecoming

Apvbguy, I think you missed the whole point of this thread. Nobody is criticizing how people live. What we have been describing is how different terms are used to describe the same phenomenon and how different people think of the same terms in different ways. What I find interesting, as was so obviously clear in the last post, is that we use two different terms to describe the exact same phenomenon in two different groups of people who want to be so different from each other.

What is truly unbecoming is that you try to brag about yourself in response to missing the point of the thread.
