We are relocating to Jacksonville in July with two young daughters and are looking at property in these communities? Any feedback? We are looking for a social either young or age diverse neighborhood.

She didn't say that but you might be joking implying those communities are full of them.

relocatingmd may not have said "exactly that", but she definitely inferred it!

Yikes! No definitely don't hate old people! My question was actually two fold. 1. I'm relocating with young kids and want them to grow up in an area with other kids. 2. My parents are thinking of eventually relocating and I was thinking that a neighborhood that as some age diversity would be ideal.

I didn't realize that asking about the age demographics was such a taboo subject. Was really just curious about the neighborhoods in general.

Don't worry about it. Some people have such empty lives they must post foolishness so as to have something to do and maybe have a little impact on others.

Your request was very reasonable. Check back periodically as posting is slow on these forums now.

I didnt really have much to say on this subject, but since you're not getting anywhere I'll chime in.

When I was younger I had friends who lived in each of these neighborhoods so I've been to each one multiple times. But this was in the 90s and early 00s...in the past decade I've only been to Queen's Harbour a handful of times.

That said, my very limited impressions are that Jax GCC and Marsh Landing had a lot of families. Queen's Harbour is huge but feels like it maybe leans a little bit toward the older crowd. I could be mistaken but I think it's the only country club of this size/quality that has such relatively easy water access out to the ocean.
