We're finally making the move to Fernandina Beach and was wondering about cell phone service. Right now I have T-Mobile. They are great for where I'm at but occasionally I'll run into coverage issues when I get out of metropolitan areas. I don't recall having any issue with them on my visits to Fernandina but wondering what any locals think and would advise. Thanks!

I use Sprint network and the wife uses T-mobile, neither one of us has any problems. We are about a mile south of Sliders.

I have heard lots of people have good luck with Verizon in this area also.

Welcome to Fernandina

We left sprint for Verizon because Verizon claimed great coverage at our house. Well it was worse. Went back to sprint because they will send you a airave for free. Thats at our particular house, YMMV

As for the general area, Verizon is considerable better IMO, but they cost more

Ive been told AT&T is very good in our area

I know this is a bit of an older thread but I have ATT and live in North Hampton and there is 0 ATT coverage there.
