We're a retired couple are are relocating from Duval to St. Johns. We like amenities and are willing to pay up to $2k per year. We are not golfers, but like the layout and landscaping and gated aspects of The King and the Bear at WGV.

The houses are vintage 2004 and up, but the community seems well-kept and the golf course is doing business.

Does anyone have an opinion, positive or negative, about the community? I am mostly concerned about environmental issues, flooding, sinkholes, future development, EPA Superfund sites, and nearby cell and radio towers.

THANKS!

WGV is a little too far from everything for our liking, Have you looked a Marsh Creek Country Club? Older homes but way better built.

I would be concerned with all the growth and traffic outside the gates. With the new silver leaf development around the corner on 16 with new high school and all the shopping at the 4 way by CVS and widening of 16 to the outlets.. it will get way busier in the years to come.
