1st suggestion might be staying at a place walking distance to a beach. How are you arriving and how are you getting from your arrival place to the cruise terminal? Are you taking a shuttle from the airport to the cruise terminal? Where exactly are you trying to get to the beach from - the cruise terminal? Are you staying in a motel? Depending on where you will be I would say Bus, Friend or Uber or good old fashion Taxi. In general you need a car to get around Jacksonville.

I agree with Uber if you are definitely not going to rent a car. However, Uber will be around $30 from anywhere near the airport-for reference- to Jax Beach- one way.

Actually I came up with another idea. I saw this on a news story so you will have to look it up yourself. My guess it will be more than renting a car, which would be my suggestion, but if you are looking to get some one to show you around Jax, I saw a news story on some website where you can rent a friend.

That was what I was considering, staying at a beach hotel. As far as getting from airport, I was going to get a shuttle to get to hotel. I pre-reserved a hotel but I think its pretty far from beach because its near the airport. Its the Comfort Suites they have a shuttle to and from airport. I was planning on taking a cab to the cruise port because that is my only option as I don't know anyone in Jacksonville, just going because my cruise! Thanks.
