My family and I will be moving to Fleming Island at the end of January. We are looking to rent a house and have found a few we like in the Eagle Harbor community. I was interested in what internet providers are available for this are? Any other information that would be of benefit is welcome also.

Internet provider for the area is Comcast. AT&T does have U-Verse in most areas of Jacksonville but its not everywhere.

Fleming Island has highly rated schools. The biggest complaint people have is the lack of a Middle School (called Junior High School in this county) In Fleming Island, the kids go to Green Cove Springs Jr High, and for some they find GCS a too 'redneck' for their sensibilities. FI High School is one of the best public High Schools in the Jacksonville area.

Fleming Island has all the shopping your would need. Its about 30-45 minutes to the beach in Jacksonville Beach or St Augustine.

Commute on US 17 can be annoying but not worse than other suburban areas around the US, an better than many areas. Your perspective will be based on what you are used to
