Hi, Good People!

Looking to move to the area between Jacksonville & New Smyrna Beach, while working on two books. Would like:

(1) Sea-salt air for sinuses: closeness to beach is nice, but if the one can smell the sea-salt air a few miles inland in the particular location, that would be GREAT!

(2) Need lots of quiet, so need such a town w. residential area away from tourist/party scenes, heavy traffic, etc..

(3) Reasonably affordable - < $900 / mo. rent till get ready to buy a place.

I'd be really grateful for any insights about Ormond Beach, St. Augustine area, or Amelia Island - feel/flavor of these places and any "surprises" or "gotchas" one ought to know about.

Thank you for any and all help!
